Goal: Know how to calculate the mean, median, mode, and range of a data set.  Know how to identify the minimum and maximum values.

Before you start:

With your group members discuss who will be doing which calculations.  Make sure you are not doing the same calculations that you did last time.  You want to make sure you know how to do all calculations.

Procedure:

1. With your group, calculate the mean, median, and mode of your class's data set.

2. Watch the following video.

3. Identify the minimum value and the maximum value of your class's data set.

4. Calculate the range of the your class's data set.

5. On the Calculations Data form, enter your group's data.  Only one form needs to be completed for each group.
